Weekly newsletter Feb 8th
Welcome to our first weekly newsletter! This is fluffness speaking, let me show you what happened on CloudNovel this week.
Engine news
It has been a busy week for our princess Sonya. She has been working hard to add new features lately!
- Added 30+ new fonts for the online engine
- Mp3 music files now work in offline visual novels
- Added comment features under visual novels
Moreover, there were other big updates last week, but we didn’t have a newsletter yet. So I’m adding them in the news of this week:
- Custom option buttons: you can make your button work as option buttons through “action” animation. This way you’ll be able to place them in different places and show/hide them whenever you want
- The “close” button in customized save/load screen has been removed. You have to add your own now.
Jolly jam
The Jolly jam officially ended on Feb 4th. It was supposed to end on Feb 1st but we extended the deadline since the site was down for a couple of days dued to maintenance.
